Does NML sell weights and weighing instruments?
No. The NML is not engaged in selling any standards or equipment.
Does NML repair weighing instruments?
No. The customer MUST make sure their equipment is operational and free from any errors upon submission. The customer may contact the local distributor or supplier of the equipment who can provide the repair.
Does NML offer cleaning of samples?
No. The customer MUST make sure their equipment is clean and free from any form of dirt, otherwise, the equipment will not be accepted for calibration.
Does NML conduct on-site calibration of test weights?
No.. All test weights are calibrated at the laboratories of the Mass Standards Section where the required environmental conditions are maintained.
Does NML conduct on-site calibration during weekends?
No. Calibrations done outside of the base laboratory or on-site are scheduled only on weekdays.
Can we rent the reference weights of NML?
No, the reference weights of NML are for internal use only.
